Traveling From Poland
Pawel Sloma and Andrzej Kubowicz traveled from Poland to Kansas City with Michal Wlodarczyk (not shown) to attend their first Lineman's Expo and Rodeo. After attending the ESMO conference and learning about the Rodeo, they booked their plane tickets to check out the week of activities and learn how they might be able to start their own hands-on competition for linemen back home.
Coming From Connecticut
Sean Fawcett (right), a journeyman lineman for Avangrid in Connecticut, came by the T&D World booth with John DeDad, technical trainer. Fawcett was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at six weeks old, yet he doesn't let anything stop him in life. He will be featured in the December 2018 Lifeline department in the "Rodeo Roundup" section.
Voting for the Top Tool of the Trade
The Top Tool of the Trade competition is now underway! Expo attendees are stopping by the T&D World booth to vote for the winner along with casting their votes online.
