Omicron's updated DIRANA software 1.6 is now available in its customer area (for registered users) online.
The DIRANA software determines the moisture content of power transformers and other assets in a simple and fast way.
The evaluation is made possible through a database, incorporated in the software, with model data for oil-paper insulation systems, containing real reference measurement curves. Aside from power transformers, the user can select different types of oil-paper-insulated test objects. The geometry settings are automatically adjusted according to the selected asset.
The software version 1.6 supports existing devices. OMICRON also offers a new, improved noise-resistant DIRANA hardware for even more reliable, on-site testing.
The multi-language version 1.6 offers a selectable user interface in English, German, French, Spanish and Chinese. Furthermore, 32 and 64 bit systems are supported.
