The Hipotronics DDX provides an intuitive operator interface that mimics the look and feel of an analog partial discharge detector. Data analysis is fast, easy and requires little training. Its Windows-based software allows flexible test reporting and data export to Word, Excel, and other Windows programs. In addition, the Hipotronics DDX provides a completely open-architecture hardware and software solution through the use of Intel 200 MHz Pentium processors, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Active X technology. The use of such technology will greatly simply expansion and updating of the equipment, according to the manufacturer.
The Hipotronics DDX can also automate the entire PD testing process, from voltage source control to calibration to test report generation.
