The FKG2 from AREVA T&D is a generator circuit breaker that enhances the conventional design of power plants up to 200 MW by simplifying operations, improving security and reducing cost.
The FKG2 is designed to interrupt the full short-circuit current up to 75 kA symmetrical rating and carries up to 9500 A continuously. A specific feature includes a fully spring-operated mechanism, with minimal maintenance, high adaptability and compact design making it ideal for retrofit solutions. It can be equipped with a special real-time monitoring system, which can be installed directly on the circuit breaker.
