GNSS Capability Added to Network Time Servers

The introduction of the updated GNSS receiver will allow the NTS series to reference both GPS and GLONASS constellations.

Tekron International Limited has added its Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) chipset to both the NTS 02-E and NTS 03-E multiport network time servers for enhanced performance of its existing metrology grade Grand Master or Boundary clock timing references.

The introduction of the updated GNSS receiver will allow the NTS series to reference both GPS and GLONASS constellations. Hence, offering crucial benefits like higher reliability, improved accuracy, and faster time to first fix (TTFF).

Building on the success of Tekron’s TCG series, this improvement will bring the NTS 02-E and NTS 03-E in line with the rest of Tekron’s range of world-class time sync solutions. This harmonization of performance and features across the Tekron range is reflected in rebranding as the “NTS 02-G” & “NTS 03-G”. Moreover, this improvement is available free of charge to existing customers on all new purchases.
