Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association, Inc. will deploy Itron Enterprise Edition (IEE) Meter Data Management (MDM) to improve its meter data management processes.
IEE MDM manages large volumes of interval, register and event data from advanced meters with a platform that enables utilities to streamline IT infrastructure and leverage the data to support a wide variety of applications. Deployment of IEE MDM will allow Tri-State to implement automated data quality routines, manage the data in a single enterprise-wide repository, and use the data for forecasting, planning, maintenance and other operations. In addition, Itron's Customer Care software application will be integrated with IEE MDM to provide timely access to meter data for the member cooperatives.
Itron now has more than 24 million meters licensed under the IEE platform, serving more than 30 utilities in North America.

IEE MDM is unique in its ability to handle a wide range of requirements including commercial, industrial, and transmission metering to mass market metering encompassing conventional consumption reads and advanced metering infrastructure, fueling the tremendous growth and market adoption of the product.
