Survalent Technology has installed a new SCADA system for Pearl River Valley Electric Power Association (EPA).

Pearl River Valley EPA, headquartered in Columbia, Mississippi, provides electric service to 46,220 customers in parts of 12 counties, and maintains 6,605 miles of distribution line.

The new system features Survalent’s highly available, dual-redundant, open-architecture system based on Windows Server 2008. The feature-rich system incorporates many of Survalent’s open system applications, including: Command Sequencing, Event Data Recorder, Remote Alarm Annunciation, IED Wizard, Control Panel, SCADA Add-in for MS Excel and Access, Master/Slave Alarm Suppression, WebSurv, Fault Data Recorder, and MultiSpeak Interfaces for Engineering Analysis, Outage Analysis, AMI, Load Management, and GIS.
