Versify Solutions Inc. has signed a six-year licensing contract with Pacific Gas and Electric Co. to provide an advanced software solution to address upcoming CAISO mandated outage management and dispatch requirements. Under the licensing agreement, Versify will provide its V-PERFORMANCE software suite including Outage Management, Event Management and Performance Reporting as part of a large implementation across PG&E’s entire generation asset base.

Using V-PERFORMANCE’s reporting and operations applications, this state-of-the-art solution will enable PG&E to more effectively manage generator outages, operate and dispatch its generation fleet, conduct compliance reporting and schedule plant maintenance projects. California is one of the world’s largest electricity markets. Improved intelligence into planned and unplanned generator outages in California will lead to the more efficient operation of the PG&E’s electric system, helping offset upward price pressures on electricity for PG&E’s customers.

Versify has strong software solutions to address the growing needs of utilities and power producers in the West. Evolving regulatory requirements and market changes place high dependency on solutions that can manage large volumes of data, often referred to as “big data,” into streamlined reporting and operational procedures.
