OSIsoft, FibrLINK Agree to Serve the Power Industry in China

OSIsoft has signed an enterprise-wide agreement with FibrLINK Communications Co., Ltd., a State Grid Corporation of China company.

OSIsoft has signed an enterprise-wide agreement with FibrLINK Communications Co., Ltd., a State Grid Corporation of China company. FibrLINK will use the real-time performance products to support real-time management, integrated data and communication networking solutions and services to the power industry in the People's Republic of China (PRC). The enterprise-wide agreement is valued in excess of $300 million dollars of OSIsoft products that will be installed throughout the electric utility industry, power grid, and telecommunications data centers in PRC. The agreement spans a seven-year period in which OSIsoft and FibrLINK will work together to help support and sustain continuing benefits that utility customers have come to expect and enjoy from OSIsoft products across the globe. The companies will work together to deliver reliable and secure industrial systems and solutions for the power sector.

In the past several years, FibrLINK has been a part of China's high-profile national telecommunications engineering projects, providing maintenance and support services for backbone transmission networks, telephone switch networks, satellite networks and data WANs to the power industry. OSIsoft will add a secure means of managing and delivering the vast amounts of real-time data traveling across FibrLINK networks across the wide expanse of China's industrial footprint to facilitate better reliability and performance improvement for supplying power.
