Mettenmeier and Tensing Sign Partnership Agreement

Tensing has named Mettenmeier the latest Tensing Business Partner. The formal agreement was signed last week between the two companies. As a business partner Mettenmeier will be able to sell and implement Tensing’s entire suite of enterprise mobility solutions to the German speaking market in Europe.

“Because Tensing solutions are built on standard technology and compatible with most back office systems, it is an ideal solution for our clients,” said Peter Frasch, Mettenmeier’s Sales Director. “The Tensing Mobile GIS Suite and Tensing Web GIS will complement our current GIS solutions and help our clients extend GIS functionality into the field. We are pleased to be working with Tensing and their products.”

Tensing enterprise mobility solutions provide mobile workers with timely access to context-based information relating to customers, resources and infrastructure via wireless communication. Tensing’s mobility suite includes: the field service solution, Tensing Mobile Workflow, Tensing Track & Trace, Tensing Fleet Management, and Tensing Mobile and Web GIS.

Tensing solutions are designed to handle everyday tasks and emergency situations regardless of the size of the organization. Built on industry-standard technologies, the component-based solutions are open to any back office or mobile system currently in place, allowing the client to benefit from past implementations while taking advantage of new innovations.

As a GIS specialist and GE Smallworld business partner, Mettenmeier serves a great number of customers across Mid and Western Europe. Over 300 companies in the utility industry have chosen Mettenmeier’s Smallworld based solutions to support a wide range of technical business processes. With Tensing Mobile GIS, these solutions will also be viewable in the field.
