Survalent Technology has commissioned a new Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system for Magnolia Electric Power Association.

Survalent Technology has commissioned a new Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system for Magnolia Electric Power Association.

Magnolia Electric Power Association serves approximately 29,673 customers in six counties in Southwest Mississippi including Pike and Walthall counties, and parts of Lincoln, Lawrence, Franklin and Amite counties.

The new system features Survalent's open-architecture system based on Windows Server 2008. The system includes several of Survalent's open system applications, including: MultiSpeak 3.0, Event Data Recorder, IED Wizard, Control Panel, Master/Slave Alarm Suppression, Remote Alarm Annunciation, SNMP Protocol, and SCADA Add-in for MS Excel and Access.
