Metadigm Services has announced a new project with La Plata Electric Utility. LPEA’s 40,000 members have expressed interest in pre-paid utilities and seasonal disconnects for vacation properties. Metadigm is providing support to the electric utility as it upgrades services to its membership and installs advanced new meters.
The full AMI upgrade project for LPEA includes meter transportation, meter inspection, meter change out and cataloging. Metadigm Services is also validating the final readings from the retired meters to ensure billing accuracy and a smooth transition to the new automated platform.
Metadigm is engaged by two other utilities in the region on similar projects, Concho Valley and Oncor.
