Enspiria Solutions is working with Microsoft and ESRI to create a spatially enabled Utilities Executive Dashboard to aid a utility’s response to ever-increasing demands for more efficient, accurate and accessible data and services.

The dashboard is based on Enspiria’s Enterprise Oriented Architecture (EOA) development framework, a set of components that use the enterprise-class capabilities of Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server 2007, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, Microsoft Virtual Earth and ESRI’s ArcGIS Server. The solution allows utilities to extract data from disparate sources and render it not only as charts and graphs, but also geographically.

The EOA development framework by Enspiria Solutions provides considerable benefits over current approaches and solutions. The most notable benefit is the ability to integrate applications and data sources, and to generate any number of perspectives and views of the business – saving IT resources and costs. Enspiria’s EOA framework provides the ability for an organization to use its existing Microsoft and ESRI investments for improved scalability, security, web-based interface, and end-user convenience.
