CXR Larus Corp. has announced its participation in the Utilities Telecom Council (UTC) Exhibition being held at the Long Beach Convention Center, Long Beach, California, this week.

CXR Larus will have experts in the field on hand and will be featuring its full range of “Utility Grade” networking equipment. They will also be demonstrating products such as their highly configurable Unified Access Platform, Multiple Media Ethernet Switch and its new range of 10 Gigabit Industrial Ethernet Switches.

The QX-3440 Unified Access Platform delivers Ethernet, IP and also RS-232, V35, RS-530, FXO-FXS, E&M, leased line interfaces with both accesses to T1 and IP, Ethernet, and MPLS Packet Switched networks. The system design is redundant and secure for the mission critical applications of utility networks. The CopperWay-Bis Multiple Media Ethernet Switch delivers Ethernet and RS232/RS485 interfaces over both optical transport and IEEE 802.3ah Ethernet “First Mile” lines. The 10 Gigabit Ethernet switches perform Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching capabilities in an industrial grade design that suits the stringent environmental requirements of the Utility substations.

CXR Larus will also display its StarClock TiemPo 6400 platform, a unique range of next generation network synchronization and timing systems aimed at delivering synchronization in both T1/SONET, and packet switched networks with IEEE 1588 PTP precise synchronization technology.
