Syclo and ClickSoftware Technologies Ltd. have integrated their products to create SMART Schedule, a rapid deployment scheduling and dispatch solution targeted at companies leveraging enterprise asset management (EAM) such as MRO Software's Maximo. Through this agreement, the partners are offering the first pre-integrated, pre-configured scheduling and dispatch solution for the asset maintenance marketplace.

SMART Schedule bridges the gap between the limited work management tools available to maintenance organizations today and the completely automated scheduling optimization solutions deployed by large field service organizations. By leveraging the strength of the optimization engine ClickSchedule and using Syclo's Agentry mobile technology and domain expertise in asset maintenance, the two companies have developed a tightly integrated solution that can be deployed in a matter of days. For the first time, sophisticated scheduling optimization will be within the reach of asset maintenance organizations with workforces both in the field and inside the four walls of the enterprise.

"The need for improved scheduling tools is equally critical on the plant floor as it is in the field," said Dr. Moshe, BenBassat, founder and CEO of ClickSoftware. "Through our partnership with Syclo we are extending our ClickSchedule solution into the asset maintenance space and filling an important void in the market. We chose Syclo because of their extensive experience within the Maximo installed base and the asset maintenance industry as a whole."

SMART Schedule assists organizations that maintain physical assets such as equipment, plants, facilities, and fleets to schedule the right person to perform the right work at the right time. Solving this resource management issue enables significant improvements in worker productivity, customer satisfaction and asset reliability. Through pre-configured scheduling rules and business objectives, SMART Schedule provides planners and schedulers with a tool for planning work, dispatching assignments and managing conflicts. When combined with Syclo's mobile solutions leveraging MRO Software's Maximo enterprise asset management system, customers have a complete workforce automation solution that provides visibility into the work order execution process, enabling organizations to dynamically manage work - in real time.

"Maintaining equipment is all about planning and scheduling work; however, due to the complexity of modeling these processes and the difficulty of integrating scheduling tools to EAM systems, few maintenance organizations have leveraged this powerful technology," said Richard Padula, Syclo CEO.
