Trilliant has joined the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association’s MultiSpeak Initiative and will further the widespread interoperability of Trilliant’s UnitySuite Head-end software.

MultiSpeak is a specification that defines standardized interfaces among software applications commonly used by electric utilities. It defines details of data that need to be exchanged between software applications in order to support different processes commonly applied at utilities.

Trilliant’s SecureMesh network provides wireless data communications for a variety of demanding utility applications, including advanced metering infrastructure (AMI), distribution automation (DA), supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) and more. Its UnitySuite Head-End software manages the network, devices on the network and the data from the network to a utility’s meter data management system (MDM), outage management system (OMS), consumer information system (CIS) and billing systems.
