Northeast Utilities Selects C3 Energy Customer Analytics

Solutions for residential customers and small, medium, and large commercial and industrial customers to be deployed across all six utility companies.

Northeast Utilities has selected C3 Energy Customer Analytics software as an engagement platform for informing customers about the specifics of their energy use.

“C3 Energy provides Northeast Utilities with a fully integrated suite of solutions that tailors information to our customers and helps promote our programs,” said Tilak Subrahmanian, vice president of Energy Efficiency at Northeast Utilities.

Northeast Utilities operates New England’s largest utility system, serving more than 3.6 million electric and natural gas customers in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire through its six major utilities: Connecticut Light and Power, Yankee Gas, NSTAR Electric, NSTAR Gas, Western Massachusetts Electric, and Public Service of New Hampshire.

“Modern, proven technologies create new opportunities for utilities to deepen customer relationships, improve customer satisfaction, and achieve business goals. Northeast Utilities is using C3 Energy Customer Analytics as a comprehensive platform for engagement, information, and efficiency efforts,” said Ed Abbo, President and CTO, C3 Energy. “C3 Energy Customer Analytics combines the power of big data, machine learning, cloud computing, and multi-layered analysis to provide tailored, relevant information and recommendations to NU customers.”
