TVA to Provide Information on Proposed Transmission Line Project

The Tennessee Valley Authority is proposing to rebuild about 3.5 mi of transmission line in the Lynnville area to improve service reliability.

The project would rebuild the existing Columbia-Lynnville 46-kV Transmission Line to 161-kV standards and install associated switches on new structures. This transmission line would supply power to Pulaski Electric System’s Lynnville 161-kV Substation. The transmission line would be built using steel pole structures centered on 100-ft-wide right of way, consisting of existing 75-ft-wide right of way plus 25 ft of new right of way.

Detailed maps showing the location are available at http://www.tva.com/transmissionprojects.
