Engineered Endeavors (EE) introduces FirstUP, its new division dedicated to fast-tracking projects in the utility industry. For projects that require one to ten steel poles or substation structures, FirstUP delivers a special team of experts focused solely on making these projects a top priority—often completing jobs in 12 weeks or less.

FirstUP was created after EE, headquartered in Cleveland, expanded its parts manufacturing operation to a new facility to make room for more pole section fitting and welding stations at the main plant. A new automated seam welder, welding/fitting rollers, welding stations, tow motors, and other handling equipment have been added at the main plant to more than double production output.  Additionally, the company has added more production and engineering  personnel to handle the increase in work flow. For customers in the utility industry, FirstUP delivers:

  • An increase in production output to better serve customers’ increasing requirements for steel pole transmission and substation structures
  • Dedicated customer service to manage requests, fulfill requirements and expedite orders
  • Cost-effective, state-of-the-art equipment and solutions

“As our customer, no matter the size of your project, you can be sure you’re receiving the shortest lead times possible in order to help you reach maximum business goals,” says Pat Deloney, president of Engineered Endeavors. “With a blend of professional engineering, custom analysis software, precision manufacturing and a quality-conscious supply chain, your structure will be in place, on time, and up to any task.”
