Black & Veatch Expands Power Delivery Presence on West Coast

Black & Veatch, a leading global engineering, consulting and construction company, has expanded its presence in the Western United States by adding power delivery talent to its Irvine, Calif., office.

The new office enhances Black & Veatch’s capabilities to provide reliable solutions to clients’ complex challenges in the Western and Southwestern United States. This adds to the company’s other energy talent in the region, throughout the United States and globally.

“There is growing demand in the West and Southwest for electricity,” said Jim Butcher, Regional General Manager for Black & Veatch. “These professionals will be focusing on clients’ needs in the areas of renewable energy solutions, power generation and transmission infrastructure projects.”

The expanded local presence allows Black & Veatch to work closely with clients to improve communities and quality of life through vital infrastructure solutions that are focused on energy, water, telecommunications and security services, Butcher added. The company intends to grow the capabilities at its Irvine office by supplementing the company’s expertise through local professionals and resources.
