Cox Industries, headquartered in Orangeburg, South Carolina, is shipping poles and crossarms to the storm-damaged areas of Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana. The company, with pole facilities in Augusta, Georgia; Eutawville, South Carolina; and Leland, North Carolina; and a crossarm/crossarm brace facility in North, South Carolina, has delivered 75 loads so far and has close to 300 loads scheduled to deliver to the region in the next two weeks. In addition to the product deliveries, Cox is assisting local private and public agencies in shipping additional relief supplies as freight capacities allow.

Cox Industries also made a $25,000 donation to the local Red Cross Chapter earmarked for storm relief related efforts. Each of our eight facilities is also independently collecting funds, which Cox is going to match at the end of each month and forward to an agency supporting the storm relief effort.
