Various utility crews across the Midwest, Southeast and East stepped up once again to restore infrastructure and power after fierce February storms. Utilities took to social media to share updates, report damage and reassure customers after a deadly storm sparked dozens of tornadoes across the Southeast last Wednesday.

At least eight people were killed from Louisiana to Virginia as at least 60 tornadoes were reported on Tuesday and Wednesday, according to a CNBC report. The storm raced east Wednesday night, with a brutal line of weather sweeping through New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Utility companies reported that more than 238,000 customers in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Virginia and Maine were without power as of last Thursday morning.

Ameren Missouri, Mississippi Power, Dominion Virginia Power and Entergy Louisiana were just a few of the utilities that dealt with power outage. Other utilities offered mutual assistance as needed.
