Minorities in Power

This session will discuss the importance of women and minorities in the power industry.

The 2012 IEEE PES T&D Conference will feature a panel addressing minorities in the power industry on Tuesday, May 8. Chris La Russa of the Florida Reliability Coordinating Council and Kristy Baksh of Progress Energy Florida will lead a discussion on the importance of women and minorities in the industry and will explore the aging workforce and the importance of diversity in the power industry.

The panel will include the following experts from the industry:
