The Hinterland Electric summer barbeque had finally arrived.  Everyone loved this event because it provided some relaxation time (on the clock) and lots of good food.  Safety was a priority, because the picnic was a work organized event.

Frank and Bruce were given the duty of setting up the facilities.  They first put the grill in place, installed a new propane tank and tested the connections with soapy water to be sure the connections were good.  They also brought in a portable generator for the sound system and   were certain to include a 10 AWG grounding connection to meet NEC requirements.  They next moved the picnic tables to a nice sunny spot and set out the potato and macaroni salad before starting up the grill.

All of a sudden it began to thunder on this hot summer day.  Even though it only thundered in the distance, Frank and Bruce knew there was a lightning risk and stopped their preparations for close to two hours.   Finally, when all was quiet Frank brought out the chicken and hamburgers to start cooking for the event.  Bruce said, hand me the tongs and dish and I will take the items off the grill and bring them over to the group when they look ready.

The Hinterland team appeared ready for a safe summer picnic.  Do you agree?  If not, what did they miss?
