STOCKTON, CA, Sept. 15, 2008 –- Inertia Engineering and Machine Works, Inc. (www.inertiaworks.com) a manufacturer of overhead, medium-voltage switchgear, automation products and specialized equipment for the electric utility industry, has announced the creation of a new joint-venture company named INERTIA-REPL (www.inertia-repl.com).
INERTIA-REPL is a joint venture between Inertia Engineering and Machine Works, Inc. and REPL International Ltd (www.repl.com), an ISO 9001 certified U.K. manufacturer of power cable accessories serving the electrical utility, construction and industrial markets worldwide. The INERTIA-REPL product line of cable accessories will cover the entire industry's range of applications from low-voltage (tubes, end caps, repair sleeves, and breakout boots) through medium voltage cable terminations, cable apparatus insulation and connection kits, and laminated and extruded dielectric cable joints up to 35kV.
