Leidos Engineering and Electric Cities of Georgia (ECG) have entered into an agreement to offer smart grid solutions to ECG’s member utilities.
The agreement covers Leidos Engineering’s smart grid capabilities, including its AMI managed solution, which integrates the Honeywell-Elster meter data management platform, field meters, modules and collectors. Leidos also offers extended warranties, business services and advanced technologies, such as utility and customer portals, outage analysis, advanced analytics and system visualization. The suite of smart grid solutions combined with Leidos industry expertise ensures utilities get the greatest value from their smart grid efforts.
ECG provides strategic and technical services to communities with utility operations and has been deeply involved in AMI technology. ECG advises its members as to which AMI solution is the best fit, has the best capabilities based on the community needs and is most supportable by the utility. ECG will work with Leidos to ensure member utilities are aware of the benefits available through the Leidos smart grid capabilities.
