Stuart Laval is a director of technology development in Duke Energy Corp.’s Emerging Technology Office and serves as the Open Field Message Bus cochair at both the UCA International Users Group and North American Energy Standards Board. He has more than 15 years of experience in electric utility power systems, telecommunications and power electronics. Laval holds a Ph.D. in industrial engineering.
